Excessive sexual drive in dogs
Excessive sexual drive is common in pubescent male dogs. This problem occurs when female dogs are in heat. It can cause many problems and lead to embarrassing situations. In most cases, castration is sufficient to limit a male dog's sexual drive. You can choose chemical castration, which lasts 3 to 6 months, or surgical castration, which is permanent.
In some cases, castration is not an option, for example, when a dog has certain behavioral traits such as fear-related aggression. Then you can choose to avoid exciting situations for your dog.
